Do you ever think about how natural it is that all people you meet have flesh and skin on their bones; that they look human-like? And when you go to the dentist’s and get an X-ray of your face, you see what you really look like, what’s underneath the skin and the puffy flesh you can poke and wrinkle and pinch. Underneath, there’s only a skull: two large holes for your eyes, a hole for the nose and a lot of teeth (preferably with no holes in them) – but that’s what each of us looks like. An expressionless, spooky, hollow thing made of bone. Makes you look at people walking by differently, huh?
